Fears and Miseries of the Third Term: After the Party
by Kay Adshead
Fears and Miseries of the Third Term was a highly targeted political satire performed at the Liverpool Playhouse in 1989 (though written/developed in the wake of the 1987 UK General Election). It was a series of short, interconnected playlets by several authors. After the Party is a 1987 short, satirical short play for Fears and Miseries of the Third Term. It was performed at venues including the Liverpool Playhouse and the Young Vic, and later adapted for Channel 4's Club X a late-night, avant-garde arts programme.
